This position includes working with the sales team to create landscape designs for our high-end residential clientele and non-residential property owners and managers. We are looking for an individual that enjoys sitting at a drawing table as well as sitting at a kitchen table to present our value. This candidate will be adept at developing landscape concepts by conferring with clients, preparing drawings and some cost estimates, making effective presentations and contributing to the team effort.

Having experience with client interaction, site analysis, some job estimating, and client presentation in the residential environment is a plus. The individual must have a good understanding of site conditions; specifically site location, soil, topography, drainage, environmental impact. With this understanding, the candidate will recognize that creating a sound landscape design is critical to the proper installation of any project. It forms the groundwork for an exciting and valuable outdoor enhancement.

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent is desired with five years of landscape design experience in conjunction with actual landscape installation experience.

Candidates should be comfortable using Microsoft Office, customer relationship management (CRM) applications, and landscape design software (such as Realtime Landscaping Architect, Google Sketch-Up and ProLandscape). They must be able to work independently, communicate effectively our services and adequately answer customer’s questions and concerns to overcome their objections. It is critical that this individual be energetic, motivated, and maintains the drive necessary to develop business in this growing industry.
