At Eichenlaub, we don’t just work to make our communities more beautiful, we also are proud to support many worthwhile causes that make our community so special.
From helping the youth of today to supporting the development of the first botanical garden in the region, we feel privileged to be able to give back to the community in which we all live.
Botanic Garden of Western Pennsylvania
We have had involvement in this project since its inception. We underwrite the annual garden tour and do whatever we can to promote landscape knowledge and the building of this educational gem. pittsburghbotanicgarden.org
Carnegie Museum of Art
We donated and did a temporary installation of plant material for the Art in Bloom benefit for the Women’s Committee. web.cmoa.org
Eichenlaub Growth Award
Since 2003, we have recognized a graduating senior from the Fox Chapel Area High School who has persevered in the face of adversity. In an effort to recognize students who face tremendous challenges and succeed through personal growth, Eichenlaub works with District administrators and staff to select a student to receive the award. The highlight of the award is a ceremony that is attended by District personnel, students, and the awardees’ family, during which a tree is planted on the campus as a living representation of the student’s growth and potential.
