In 40 BCE, the Roman architect Vitruvius wrote that structures should have three attributes: firmitas, utilitas, and venustas.

The Romans inherited these three attributes from Greek construction projects centuries before. Many of the greatest construction projects in history, still standing, functional and beautiful today are based on the three principles, and we make sure the same three attributes are included in everything we do at Eichenlaub. We design them into our project and maintenance plans, our craftsmen are thinking these three words when they are working, and you will see these three attributes in our finished project; it is our ability to do all three very well that separates our work from others. These three words are strength, utility, and beauty.
